---The Peterborough Jesse’s Tap and Grill U15AAA Petes were crowned the Champions of the Boston Pizza Icefest Sunday night with a hard fought 1-0 OT win over the Kitchener Jr Rangers
The Petes began tourney play Thursday beating Timmins 6-0 , Friday saw the group edge the same Kitchener team 2-1 in Ot , followed by a 5-0 win over Cambridge.
Saturday the Petes knocked off the Buffalo Regals 5-2 to set up a ¼ final against a solid Burlington team. The Petes came out on top with a 4-0 shutout win over Burlington.
Sunday am the Petes got the Grey Bruce Highlanders and again posted another shoutout 1-0 over a rugged Grey Bruce team.
Sunday night in the finals the Petes pulled off the undefeated weekend with their 5th shutout of the weekend over a solid Kitchener Ranger squad.
Goaltenders Landen White and Matty Colling were outstanding all weekend.
