October 17, 2017 – The Peterborough Minor Hockey Council (PMHC) is once again honoured to host the 2017 Boston Pizza Icefest “AAA” Tournament from Thursday, October 19 through Sunday, October 22 at arenas in Peterborough and Norwood.

The Boston Pizza Icefest “AAA” Tournament will host 46 “AAA” hockey teams from Peewee through Bantam, from all over Ontario, Quebec, and New York. Read More

Will Cranley recorded the shut-out as Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes beat North Central Predators 7-0 on Saturday night at the Evinrude. 

Scoring for Peterborough were Noah Sedore (2), Nolan Burke, Gabriel Lemire, Luc Reeve, Austin Pearce and Boyd Stahlbaum.  Tyler Deline, Logan Maunder, Brett Robertson, Avery Cook, Ben Lukinuk, Sedore, Reeve and Burke added assists.  

Next home game is October 14 vs Oshawa at 8pm Evinrude.

The Foley Bus Lines AAA Minor Midget Petes won their first two home games 5-1 vs Kingston and 11-1 vs Oshawa.  
Nolan Burke and Luc Reeve scored twice each and Boyd Stahlbaum added one to lead the Petes against Kingston.  Will Craig had a strong game in net.  
On Saturday night, the Petes had many players contributing offensively.  Noah Sedore had a hat trick, Stahlbaum and Burke added two each, and Avery Cook, Austin Pearce, Will Everson, and Logan Maunder added singles.  Assists went to Reeve (3), Ethan Curtis (3), Gabe Lemire (2), Tyler Deline (2),  Ben Lukinuk (2), Burke (2), Cook (2), Pearce and Everson. Will Cranley recorded the win.

The Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes competed at the Toronto Titans Tournament September 7-11.  The team began their tournament with a 2-1 win over Wheatfield Blades, followed by a 4-2 win over Burlington Eagles.  On Friday night, the Petes battled to a 1-1 tie with Mississauga Reps, then exploded with offense to beat Hamilton Huskies 7-1 on Saturday.  The Petes advanced as a wild-card, and beat the home team, Toronto Titans, 2-1.  On Sunday morning, the team lost 3-1 to Mississauga Reps in the Quarter-finals. Avery Cook lead the Petes with 6 points in 6 games.   Will Cranley and Will Craig were dominant in net for the Petes.  

The team will begin their regular season Tuesday, September 19, 8:30pm at the Evinrude vs Kingston Frontenacs.
