Please complete the following coach applications for the 2026-2027 season. Applications will close on Friday December 12th at 11:59pm Interviews will commence on Monday December 15th, 2025 and applicants MUST be available that evening.

Please provide 3 references related to your coaching experience. Player referees must be 12 years or older.

  1. I authorize Peterborough Minor Hockey Council to collect personal information appropriate to the position applied for concerning my academic background, employment history, and verify the character references I have supplied. I understand that the information obtained will be confidential but may be shared with relevant organizations in order to obtain an appropriate volunteer position.
  2. Please be aware that all coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, and managers of Rep teams are required to input a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) as supplied by the Police Service the applicant resides in. These MUST be obtained from our Secretary.
  3. While the PMHC Coach Selection Committee appreciates and reviews all applications, only those applicants being considered for an interview will be contacted. 
  4. Coaches are to understand that the PMHC Board must approve all coaching staff prior to them being named to the roster. The team roster will not be completed until the staff has been approved. Coaches are advised that they are not to announce any coaching staff members until the PMHC Coach Selection Committee has approved them.

     

  5. Coaches may be asked to consider taking on their staff as an assistant a candidate chosen by the PMHC Board from applicants for head coach or assistant coach.

     

  6. All coaches and staff are required to sign a Code of Conduct form, and a Coach Contract. Refusal to sign will lead to removal from the team.

     

  7. By submitting this application, potential candidates agree that they have read and understand and will follow the outlined requirements.

     

  8. I certify that the above information represents a true and accurate detail of my qualifications. 

     

  9. I understand that interviews will commence on Monday December 15th and I must be available at the time.
