Steve Richey Tournament of Champions Recap
This past weekend January 19-22nd the Peterborough Minor Hockey Council held their annual Steve Richey Tournament Of Champions Tournament (U16/U18). The tournament hosted 53 teams including teams from the U.S.A and out of province. Over the course of the weekend 116 games with elite level players were played at 5 local rinks.

Opening ceremonies were held at the Peterborough Memorial Center Friday night where a scouts dinner was catered by Boston Pizza. Opening ceremony puck drop was taken by Steve's mother & father Judy & Bob Richey along with his son’s Kyle & Travis Richey and their sons at the U16 Ptbo Petes vs U16 London Knights game to kick off the festivities.
