Jesses Tap & Grill AAA Minor Atom Peterborough Petes Bring Home GOLD!

The Jesses Tap & Grill AAA Minor Atom Petes won a hard fought battle against the Barrie Jr. Colts in the gold medal game at the Vaughn Kings Classic Tournament to claim their second tournament title of the season.

The team went 3-0-1 in round robin play, finishing first in their pool. On Sunday, the Petes defeated rival Whitby in the semifinals 2-1, to advance to the final vs the Barrie Jr. Colts, where they capped off a tight checking final game with a late empty-netter to take the victory 4-2.
