The Russelle Chiropractic/ CHE Atom AAA Petes’ have qualified for the OMHA tournament hosted by the York Simcoe Express this weekend, March 16-18th. In front of a very large, loud and supportive crowd, the Petes’ came out in their Play-In game with one goal in mind from puck drop and were able to set the tone immediately. Despite a constant tough rival matchup with the Clarington Toros, the Petes prevailed with a convincing 5-2 victory.

Ryder Perry led the way with two goals with singles going to Camden Burke, Ben Bowen and Tyler Bolton.

Assists went to Burke, Perry, Holden Rutherford and Bolton. The OMHA Tournament opens on Friday at St. Andrew’s College in Aurora for the Petes, when they faceoff vs. Barrie Colts at 9 am, followed by a matchup with the Halton Hurricanes at 4:30 pm.
