The Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair Novice AAA Petes competed in the OMHA Championship tournament over the past weekend in Whitby.
In round Robin play the Petes opened with a 3-3 tie against Burlington Eagles.
Scoring for the Petes was Ryan Chamberlain, Colin Fitzgerald and Seth Clark.
Assists went to Hayden Addison, Declan Ready and Fitzgerald.
In game two the Petes were defeated by the host Whitby Wildcats 3-1. Kellar Kelusky
recorded the Petes lone goal.
The Petes opened up Saturday morning against Central Ontario Wolves with 4-1 loss.
Scoring for the Petes was Fitzgerald, assisted by Ready.
The Petes rebounded with a 3-3 tie with Halton Hurricanes. Chamberlain scored
twice with a single to Fitzgerald. Assist went to Addison, Ready and Clark.
The Petes then qualified for the bronze medal game Sunday morning. Hayden
Addison scored the overtime winner for the Petes in a 3-2 win. Fitzgerald added a
goal and two assists with Ready adding a single.
Goaltenders Morgan Hyndman and Lewis Chatten played well in goal for the
Petes over the weekend.

Jacob McMahon. Due to injuries Affiliated players Travis Heffernan, Colton Bain,
Blake Moncrief and Garrett Jones filled in admirably. Goaltenders are
Lewis Chatten and Morgan Hyndman.
