Minor Hockey Council (the "PMHC") is pleased to announce that the AAA
Minor Petes will host the 10th Annual Boston Pizza Bantam Icefest
Hockey Tournament from October 13th through October 16th,
2015.
Boston Pizza continues to sponsor this exciting tournament, which is strongly supported by several local businesses and volunteers who have a keen interest in the development of minor hockey in Peterborough. “Participating in a tournament is an important part of the season for many minor hockey teams across the province and the Bantam Icefest will showcase some of the best talent Ontario minor hockey has to offer. These kids are all working hard at their craft, and we will get to see some exceptional hockey in Peterborough," said Walter DiClemente, President of the PMHC.The tournament will draw over a 1000 visitors to the City and County of Peterborough over the four days and a total of 126 games will be played featuring 16 Minor Bantam and 28 Major Bantam teams.
Competition starts Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., when our local Evinrude Blades Minor Bantam Petes will host the Halton Hurricanes. At 6:00 p.m., the Rehill Building Supplies Major Bantam AAA Petes take on the Brampton 45’s. Both games will be played at the Evinrude Atom Pad.
