The
Ontario Hockey 'World' converged on Peterborough this past weekend to take in
the 2015 Peterborough Midget Tournament of Champions. What is always a strong
tournament from a competition standpoint seemed to step up this year, as many
top teams came to Peterborough to win the Championship.
All was for not however, as the hometown Peterborough Petes captured the attention of locals and took home the championship. While it wasn't easy, teams such as the Ottawa Jr. 67s and Kitchener Jr Rangers gave them a challenge; the Petes rode the hot play of Cedric Ralph and Cal Davis to take home the title.
Every year the tournament organizing committee presents a well-planned, on time and enjoyable event, and this year was no different. The team at TheScout.ca would like to congratulate the volunteers who put in time to ensure that the event was run smoothly, as it was one of the best tournaments that we have attended all year. Area Scouts Kyle Cormier, Kyle Craner, Nathan Didone joined Director of Scouting Sean Lafortune.
