PMHC Hockey 2020 - Season Programming Preview
Hello PMHC Families,

In order for our families to plan for the upcoming 2020-21 hockey season we wanted to communicate our vision and plan.

With the latest correspondence from the OMHA via the OHF documents released July 29, 2020, and subsequent contact with the OMHA we are pleased to announce that we will be continuing our PMHC "AAA" program. That being said, the program will be very different than prior years. We aim to provide our athletes with the best development during this pandemic, and have the confidence in our coaches to continue our growth as an organization.

Beginning in September, teams (with their 2019-20 roster) will have two weekly practice slots and a "game slot" on either Saturday or Sunday. The "game" slot will be internal 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4 when OHF deems it appropriate.

As far as payment goes, we understand that the pandemic has strained some families' finances. As a result we will have 2 installments instead of the usual one time registration fee. The first installment will be in September and the second installment in January. These fees will cover ice and insurance and we aim to get these costs to each family as soon as possible. Teams will still have individual budgets on top of this for any specific needs (power skating, goalie instruction etc.).

Any and all PMHC activities will be consistent with the OHF framework and strictly adhered to along with our local Public Health Unit and arena management. Our newly formed COVID committee has worked very hard to ensure our organization has up to date information and all personal protective equipment is available to our staff and players.

We're looking forward to seeing your player on the ice this Fall. We will communicate again when the registration link is ready.
