Minor Midget Petes Win Two Against Whitby
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes picked up two wins this week against Whitby.
On Tuesday, the Petes beat Whitby 7-1 at the Evinrude. Eleven players recorded points for the Petes. There were seven different goal scorers; Nolan Burke, Ben Lukinuk, Logan Maunder, Jack Falkner, Alex Ferrier, Kal Watson and Austin Pearce scored. Boyd Stahlbaum, Noah Sedore, Avery Cook, Brett Robertson, Burke, Maunder and Ferrier also added assists. Will Cranley was strong in net.
On Saturday, the Petes travelled to Whitby and won 5-2. Stahlbaum lead the team with a hat trick. Sedore and Burke added singles. Will Everson, Ethan Curtis, Lukinuk, Maunder, Watson, Burke and Sedore assisted. Will Craig made key saves throughout the game.
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes are on the road this week. They head east on Tuesday to face the Kingston Jr Frontenacs at 9pm and then to Lindsay on Thursday for a 8:30pm start against Central.
