Strong Team Play Fuels Rehill Building Supplies Bantam Petes Winning Streak
The Rehill Building Supplies AAA Bantam Petes won two games this weekend, extending their league winning streak to 13 games.

On Saturday night, Will Cranley was strong in net, and made many key saves to shut out Kingston 1-0.  Will Everson scored a top-shelf goal at the beginning of the third period to gain the lead, and the Petes skated hard and maintained puck possession to hold Kingston off for the remaining 19 minutes.

On Sunday, the Bantam Petes battled hard to beat Barrie 5-4.   Barrie opened the scoring late in the first period.  In the second period, Boyd Stahlbaum scored, assisted by Nolan Burke and Kal Watson, to tie the game 1-1, then Kal Watson scored unassisted to give Peterborough the lead.  Barrie responded with two quick goals in 42 seconds, and Peterborough found themselves down 3-2 going into the third period.  11 minutes into the third, Gabe Lemire muscled his way down the left side of the rink, then cut in towards the net, scoring, to once again tie the game.  Tyler Deline took a pass from Chase Stillman and scored four minutes later from the point.  On the next shift Nolan Burke slid the puck past the Barrie goalie to give the Petes a two-goal lead.  Barrie continued to battle, scoring one more with five minutes remaining, but goaltender Will Craig put up a wall, and all fifteen skaters defended well to win the game.

The Rehill Building Supplies Petes are at home next Saturday and Sunday at the Evinrude.
