Petes Fill Wolf Den
The R E Young Midget AAA Petes traveled to Port Perry Saturday evening to take on the Central Ontario Wolves. The 0-3-1 Wolves gave the 3-1-0 Petes a good run in the first, but the Petes came out on top 1-0 after 1, with a goal by 2 Liam Banavage.
In the second Period the Wolves got into penalty trouble and the Petes got goals from 5 Ethan Young, 8 Clay Coles and a second by 2 Banavage.
The third period saw a blast from the point by 20 David Carroll. Noah Crosina was outstanding in net, earning a shutout for the Petes.
Next Petes Action will be at the Ottawa Senators Showcase Tournament October 15-18.
