Novice AAA Petes’ 6 game winning streak snapped in Hamilton
The Novice Petes’ have enjoyed recent success as a team by building a 6-game winning streak over the past 3 weeks. We had an outstanding tournament last weekend at the Hamilton Reebok Classic, with key focus on Defensive play and commitment to teamwork has significantly influenced our results in the past month.

There was a definite gain of momentum heading into the tournament, after winning three consecutive key divisional matchups in a row in league play .vs. Ajax Pickering Raiders and the Clarington Toros. The Petes’ continued their winning ways going 3-0 in the round robin portion of the tournament, with big wins vs. Clarington, Buffalo Regals and Oakville Rangers. After first place finish in our division and a bye to the Quarter finals with Richmond Hill, who are tops in the ETA, the boys fell just short losing 3-1 with an empty net goal.

The boys should be commended for their hard work and overall team oriented attitude that is contributing greatly to our season so far. Next action for the Novice Petes is this weekend with games @ Clarington on Saturday, and at home .vs. York Simcoe on Sunday at 12:00PM.
