Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget Petes lose in Quarter-finals
After finishing first in their conference of 30 teams, Peterborough Minor Midget AAA Petes lost in the quarter-finals of the Toronto Marlies Holiday Tournament last week.

Will Craig and Will Cranley were dominant in net, allowing only 1 goal in the first 4 games.  After Round-Robin play, Peterborough won their conference with 4 wins.

In Game 1 vs Grey Bruce Highlanders, Nolan Burke scored both goals, leading the team to a 2-0 win.
 
In Game 2 vs Detroit Honeybaked, the Petes scored two powerplay goals to win 4-0.  Kal Watson, Austin Pearce, Tyler Deline and Ben Lukinuk scored with assists to Luc Reeve, Noah Sedore, Watson and Boyd Stahlbaum. 
In Game 3 vs Toronto Red Wings, Will Everson and Watson scored, assisted by Burke and Stahlbaum,  2-1 win.
 
In Game 4 vs Kitchener, the Petes won 5-0.  Nolan Burke had 3 goals, with singles to Avery Cook and Watson. Reeve, Deline, Watson, Burke, Lukinuk, Maunder, and Everson assisted. 

After Round-Robin play, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Midgets finished first in division.   In the round of 16, they beat Whitby 5-1.  
Boyd Stahlbaum opened the scoring from Gabe Lemire, followed by Watson unassisted, Cook (assisted by Deline and Watson), Reeve (open net) and Ben Lukinuk. 
In the Quarter finals, the Petes lost 3-0 to Mississauga Reps.
 
Next Action for the Petes is Tuesday, January 2 at Evinrude at 8:30pm vs Whitby
