Minor Midget Petes Gaining Momentum
After a few losses last week, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes won two games on the weekend.
On Saturday, the Petes beat Ajax in a physical game 6-0. Brett Robertson and Luc Reeve each scored two goals, Boyd Stahlbaum and Nolan Burke added singles.
On Sunday, Peterborough gained momentum in the second period, and beat Oshawa 5-1. Tyler Deline, Luc Reeve, Noah Sedore (2) and Austin Pearce scored for the Petes.
Will Craig was strong in net for both games.
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes hope to continue their strong team play at the Whitby Silver Stick this weekend. They open the tournament against York Simcoe, a top-rated Ontario team, Thursday at 3:45pm. Good luck boys!
