The
Russelle Chiropractic/ CHE Atom AAA Petes’ continued their strong play
in the ETA this past week by earning 3 of a possible 4
points.
At Central last Wednesday, the Petes came away with a 6-1 victory. Ben Bowen had two goals, with singles going to Calum Couch, Quinn Jacobs, Camden Burke and Travis Maxwell. Assists went to Holden Rutherford, Zach Russelle, Tyler Bolton, Nathan Gerelus, Jacobs and Couch. Lewis Brocklehurst had a strong game in net.
On Saturday, the team travelled to North Central and skated to a 2- 2 tie. Camden Burke and Tyler Bolton both had a goal and an assist for the Petes. Masen Johnston made some key saves in earning the tie. The Petes now own a record of (12-5-3) in league play in a very competitive, and tight division in the ETA East.
The Petes will now travel to Toronto and participate in the Vaughn Kings Classic this weekend, and next league action is Monday December 18 in Oshawa at 7pm.
